The Program consists of 4 timely treatments during the season within 10 feet of the perimeter of your home or other structures on your property for the reduction of the most common nuisance insects around the exterior of your Home, minimizing the need to treat the inside your home or structure.
In the past pest control technicians would service you home by treating inside your home even when there are no insects inside. While there are companies that still do this practice today, it is proven that practice is not the most effective way to control insects and can leave behind unnecessary pesticide residues.
Most insects originate from outside. The idea behind Perimeter Pest Control is to treat the outside of the building with a barrier that insects will contact before they get inside with most of them dying by the time they get inside.
Interior treatments are available when needed. There are times when you need to treat inside. An inspection and evaluation of the problem will be made, and a recommendation will be made along with a quote and plan of action.
The Perimeter Pest Control program is an entry level service that is priced to be an economical option for protecting your home. When it is necessary to treat a problem that arises inside your home, you will have someone on call to take care of a more in-depth problem that you may have at a minimal charge.
Some things that you can do to help with keeping pests out of your home would be to keep screens in good repair, caulk and fill cracks, and keeping door seals in good repair.
Wood Destroying Insects
While the Perimeter Pest Control treatments do not cover things like Termites, Carpenter Bees, Carpenter Ants, and wood destroying Beetles, the treatments can be effective.
I can customize a program that would include controlling these insects when needed.
Rodent Control is not included with this program, but a natural rodent repellent is applied to the perimeter of building with the Fall Application to help repel rodents. If more in-depth rodent control is needed, we can evaluate the problem and make recommendations with a quote and plan of action. Other companies install rodent bait boxes around the home which will attract rodents and can expose poisons to non-target animals.
